Specifications

An adhesive-bonded, or cemented, joint connects fiberglass pipe components using a specified bonding system. Here, “cemented” refers to a pipe joint; it does not describe a concrete slab or a construction control joint.

Match the joint to the pipe system

Confirm the pipe and fitting dimensions, joint geometry, adhesive specification and installation procedure together. The offered joint must be reviewed for the service fluid, design pressure, temperature and installation conditions.

The catalogue lists upper values of 1,200 mm and 70 bar. These values do not establish a combined rating of 70 bar at 1,200 mm. Request the size-specific rating and drawing for the proposed assembly.

Approved adhesive, surface preparation and assembly procedure.
Curing conditions and the required time before testing or putting the system into service.
Inspection and pressure-test requirements for the completed joint.
