UL 142 – Steel Above Ground (Single & Double Wall) Storage Tanks For Flammable And Combustible Liquids
UL-142 and UL-58 certify different types of atmospheric storage tanks for being able to store non-corrosive, stable flammable and combustible liquids. The Tanks, when manufactured according to UL-142 standards would be fabricated in a combination of diverse shapes and orientations. The tanks are used according to Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code, NFPA 30; NFPA 30A, NFPA 31, NFPA 37, NFPA 1 and International Fire. The tanks covered by these requirements are fabricated, inspected and tested for leakage before shipment from the factory as completely assembled vessels.
